Wealden Green party's candidates were hugely successful in May's local elections: in Forest Row, Patricia Patterson-Vanegas won by a landslide, gaining 1212 votes to the Conservative candidate’s 321. Keith Obbard won his seat in Withyham by 499 to 448 votes. And in Crowborough, Colin Stocks rejoined the Town Council to represent Jarvis Brook.
